Shortly after January 6, 2021, I was put on a TSA watchlist and, for over 18 months, put through the ringer every time I flew.
This meant I had to show up at the airport at least 3 hours before every flight.
Why?
It usually took 30 minutes at the ticket counter and 60-75 minutes going through security, with the possibility of much longer times depending on how TSA dealt with my checked baggage.
It also meant a complete screening, physical pat-down, swabbing me and all my gear, a search of all of my belongings, questions, etc.
That is the cost of being on a TSA watchlist.
How did I end up on the watchlist?
Originally, I was told my name was similar to someone on the watchlist, but I soon found out that was a lie.
After months of getting screened 100% of the time I flew and having the quad S’s (“SSSS”) placed on my tickets, it was clear I was on a list.
I also know I was actually on the watch list because a TSA officer and an airline employee with whom I spoke along the way over those 18 months told me so.
The last few months I was on the watch list TSA set up security check points at my gates. 100% of the time I was screened at the gate when less than 5% of the passengers – my assessment – were screened.
This is unheard of.

BACKGROUND
In January 2021, I was invited to travel to Washington, D.C. by a pastor in Texas who was going there to pray as a part of a large group who had a permit for space right in front of the U.S. Capitol.
Therefore, I was in Washington, D.C. the days before January 6th and on the 6th itself.
I never entered the U.S. Capitol – although I watched a lot of people get waved into the Capitol by Capitol Police officers.
While in D.C. I did pray, I produced a video and live-streamed one of my reports, and spent much of January 6th standing next to a friend and colleague who is still in the FBI as we watched Antifa members move into the Capitol and around the Capitol grounds.

In summation, I was lawfully in a permitted area on the grass outside the U.S. Capital with a large prayer group, I never broke the law, and I was put on a watchlist.
CODA
About 8 weeks ago, I was interviewed by the FBI and asked if I was advocating the overthrow the U.S. government. My answers must have been appropriate because shortly after that interview, I was apparently removed from the watchlist because the TSA maulings at the airport ceased.
Interestingly, easily identifiable jihadis work at airports and for TSA across the United States. UTT has documented some of these penetrations of airports on several occasions, including here.
Yet, a combat veteran Marine Officer who spent 13 years in the FBI, 4 years in the Department of Defense, and is still a sworn deputy sheriff gets put on a TSA watchlist for praying for America in the nation’s capital.
This story is meant to be a clear data point for those of you still not paying attention to the tyranny in today’s America.
