What's New?

Written by John D. Guandolo

The Office of the Inspector General (IG) released their report yesterday entitled, “Audit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Efforts to Identify Homegrown Violent Extremists through Counterterrorism Assessments,” which is a detailed review of how the FBI is or is not adequately handling “Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVE’s).”

According to the IG’s report, “HVEs are the highest priority for the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division (CTD) because the FBI believes HVEs currently present the greatest terrorist threat to the United States…The FBI defines HVEs as global jihad-inspired individuals who are in the United States, have been radicalized primarily in the United States, and are not receiving individualized direction from a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).”

See the full IG report here.

The FBI uses the term “jihadi,” yet provides its agents and analysts no legal definition of the word according to authoritative Islamic Law/sharia.

The FBI uses the term “Violent Extremism,” which is an undefined word brought into the FBI by senior FBI officials who got it from the British government who got it from British Muslim Brotherhood organizations.

The FBI is focused on individuals who are being “radicalized,” but cannot even define what that means or how it happens.

As a matter of historical record, in August of 2006, I created and implemented the first training program inside the U.S. government (2 weeks long) detailing the threat of the Global Islamic Movement, Islamic Law/sharia, the Muslim Brotherhood and its network in the United States, military jihadi organizations and networks (Hizbollah, Al Qaeda, etc), and strategies to investigatively go after and dismantle these networks.

The training helped all the students realize: (1) everyone from local police to national security professionals must understand sharia’s authority in Islam and what it actually says in order to create a strategy to defeat the Islamic Movement inside the United States (still not done); and (2) 90% of the Islamic Movement’s work is done by suit-wearing jihadis in the non-violent realm and, therefore, requires innovative and creative investigative methods and strategies to identify and dismantle these networks.

Today, there is no training program in the U.S. government teaching the men and women of the FBI – or any other federal, state or local entity – how to identify these networks and individual jihadi, and review threats based on an understanding of sharia – the very thing 100% of jihadis tell us is what drives their actions.

The result is numerous cases where the FBI had jihadis in custody, but did not know it, and now Americans are dead because of it.

Examples out of the IG’s report include:

Major Nidal Malik Hasan: Fort Hood Texas – 14 killed & 30 wounded

Hasan’s calls with Al Qaeda leader Anwar al Awlaki were intercepted, but deemed irrelevant because much of it was “religious rhetoric.” In fact, Hasan was getting legal authority under sharia for the operation, but untrained agents, linguists and others had no idea.

The FBI had a case open on Hasan for five months but closed it. Five months later he killed 14 people and wounded 30 others at the U.S. Army’s Fort Hood Texas.

Omar Mateen: Orlando (FL) Night Club – 49 killed & 53 wounded

Omar Mateen was interviewed by the FBI on at least three (3) occasions and “deemed not to be a threat.” As a matter of fact, FBI Special Agent Juvenal Martin testified the FBI considered making Omar Mateen a confidential informant, and Mateen’s father (Siddique) was an informant for the FBI. Siddique Mateen was also the Vice President of the jihadi Islamic Center of Fort Pierce, where Omar Mateen prayed several times a week for 13 years, although the mosque’s Imam, Syed Shafeeq Ur Rahman, lied to the public and the media and said he did not know Omar.

In this case, despite the fact the first “suicide bomber” from America in Syria, Moner Mohammad Abu-Salha, also came from this small mosque, the FBI was unable to determine the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce is a jihadi mosque. Nor was the FBI able to recognize Omar Mateen was and his father is a jihadi.

Esteban Santiago: Ft Lauderdale (FL) Airport. 5 dead & 42 injured

Esteban Santiago was interviewed three times by the FBI. A case was opened for only approximately three weeks and was closed on 11/30/2016. He conducted his jihadi attack at the Ft Lauderdale Airport on 1/06/2017.

Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Miami Field Office George Piro told reporters Santiago had “mental health issues.” Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Anchorage Alaska Field Office, where Santiago voluntarily approached the FBI, told reporters Santiago had “no ties to terrorism.”

What Ties Them All Together

Jihadis do not need to be “tied” to ISIS or Al Qaeda or Hizbollah or work for a nation-state. Sharia ties them all together. All authoritatively published sharia commands muslims to wage war against non-muslims until sharia is the law of the land on earth and the Law of Jihad is specific about what this means.

This is not understood inside the FBI because there is no training explaining it.

What Santiago, Mateen and Hasan all have in common is they are/were all sharia-adherent muslims.

Understanding the Threat

In June 2011, I and two colleagues presented a 3-day program at Headquarters Marine Corps (VA) to approximately 115 people, including folks from CIA, NSA, DIA, DHS, local police departments, Joint Terrorism Task Forces, military Special Operations units, and members of the FBI’s National Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Before lunch on the third day of training, a gentleman stood up and, in front of the entire room said, “John, I have been in the FBI for over fourteen years. I am a supervisor at FBI Headquarters in the Counterterrorism Division, and I have never heard any of the information you all have put out here.” He went on to say he knew what we put out was true because we demonstrated it was.

When he sat down I said, “Raise your hand if you knew this information before you came in here on Day 1.”

Zero hands went up.

When UTT says the enemy intends to win the war by controlling the narrative, this is exactly what we mean. Suit-wearing jihadis have silenced truth about the Islamic threat to such an extent that the very men and women charged with knowing the threat are not allowed to receive training to know it.

UTT has the only training programs in the nation teaching the enemy threat doctrine (sharia) and modus operandi, giving police and federal agents tools to proactively find jihadis and jihadi organizations, and providing investigative strategies and methodologies to take them down.

Police officers trained by Understanding the Threat are able to PROACTIVELY locate jihadis in their communities BEFORE they pop up on the radar and kill. Numerous investigations have been opened by police in several states “as a direct result of Understanding the Threat’s training and consultation,” and jihadis have been convicted because of UTT’s work with police.

Encourage your local police, sheriff’s office, and FBI office to bring UTT to town. We want to give our brave men and women in these agencies the training they need so they can begin crushing the jihadis all across this nation.

    1. Please Richard post if you get a response from the White House and or FBI. Every time a opinion poll popped up (after visiting a few websites) appearing to ask if I would take a survey about my vote for the President in the next election, and answering many yes and no answers.. it also presented a box to elaborate or make comments…I mentioned over and over about the threat of sharia law and freedom to speak openly about Islam and mentioned SA as the location origin of Islam from the Quran and sharia. Made a few criticism of a recent sale. Also added possible problems from the ME due to the use of deception employed to not appear as the origin of Islam, even though he often stated Islamic jihad…. did he still miss the word play or splinter word meaning. I often wonder if he ever listened to Haney….or John. Then wondered if I was in trouble due to the number of black suv’s in neigborhood parked outside. The information John has is extremely important and have read his blog and view video’s for many years.

Funny how it caused me to eventually stop posting my name, but in reality they had it anyway.

    1. And neither is the DoD. With regards to the jihadi attack by a member of the Saudi Air Force on U.S. military personnel at NAS Pensacola, the Military Times writes “the Defense Department found that the training and procedures it has in place for insider threats did not specifically take foreign military students into account.” Utter failure.

  1. Excellent! On point and concise. Controlling the narrative is politics today in the US and around the world. However, there is another debilitating condition in our nation that is aiding in Islamic proliferation and the ignorance of our LE services and representative elected to deal with it. That is general condition of overwhelming corruption. As an investigator, I have spent most of my service investigating local and state level corruption. What happens when you do this? You draw the backlash of the very people you hope will protect you from radical Islam. We are a polarized nation which has allowed the enemy in the gate and the indigenous public government to grow corrupt. A great way to stem the tide of Islam in my opinion would be to deal with the corruption right in front of us.

  2. Phil Haney could attest to this. What a complete abdication of responsibility by our elected representatives. Surely, this is not due to ignorance. It is by design. But for what reason? If this Country is going to survive as the Founders intended, we need a million more John Guandolos.

    1. Right on, Debra! We need a lot of Patriots to take John’s ‘Train the Trainer’ course so that they can replicate and multiply what John teaches. Then maybe we can raise an army of “a million more John Guandolos”!

  3. Hey is there any chance that you all could come to Yuba City California? I ask because we have this exact problem! We have a ton of East Indians here and I do believe that we have a great deal of suits as you put them in your publishing. I know our area is probably out of the way but we have been this way since I was a kid. And it’s only gotten worse!

  4. I 100% back John and am very blessed to have been watching Andrew Wommach by doing so become aware of John.

  5. Surveillance is described as monitoring a target coverrtly usinhg visual, aural or electronic means.

Companies aimming to bring in help to get a position by which sensitive information is going to be known from the new employee probably want to ensure that tey are able
to truist the new person. PIs work to connecdt clues to discover personal, business, and legal
    matters.

  6. Stealth jihad is being waged all over this country. Sharia law is not compliant with the Constitution. They need to hobo off back to their third world hell hole.

  7. What you’re saying about FBI incompetence rings true. They did a wonderful job of screwing up my employment background investigation, such that I could never get any job in the Government that called for a security clearance.

  8. Oh…John, so relieved 😅 that you and so many I’ve read are cognizant of the facts. G-d bless us and ours with His Truth and love ❤️.
