From 2002 to the end of 2020, the U.S. government foolishly and dangerously spent nearly $800 million on women/girls and gender equality issues in Afghanistan which have produced little results.
Why?
The problem facing females in Afghanistan is rooted in Islam and its barbaric sharia law. “Allah’s divine law”/sharia protects rapists, condones killing children for whatever reasons parents and/or grandparents deem appropriate, and treats women as property to be handled by muslim men as they see fit.
Since 9/11/01, billions of dollars have also been paid by the United States to nation-state purveyors of barbaric sharia law such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Qatar, and many others.
Some U.S. leaders mistakenly consider some or all of these nations “allies” and “friends” of the United States.
The total expenditure of almost a billion dollars by corrupt, ignorant, and incompetent U.S. government officials serves as yet another example of how failure to identify real threats to America puts citizens in grave danger.
Instead of identifying Islam as the enemy’s threat doctrine and sharia-adherent muslims as adversaries of liberty, American generals, senators, congressmen, Presidents, and other government officials – not to mention pastors, rabbis, mayors, police chiefs, chambers of commerce et al – lied and continue to lie to Americans by telling citizens Islam is a “religion of peace.”
Yet, not one official can name a single book of authoritative Islamic law or one text book used in U.S. Islamic schools which contradicts the writings and pronouncements of Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Hizbollah, and all of the other military jihadi organizations when they quote Islamic sharia.
Normative and universally taught Islam requires the muslim community to wage war against non-muslims until “allah’s divine law”/sharia is imposed on every human on earth.
For a muslim to teach something other than that to another muslim is a capital crime in Islam.
Anywhere sharia law exists, liberty is crushed and slavery grows.
Yet, this nearly $800 million dollar taxpayer expense for “gender equality” in Afghanistan is a drop-in-the-bucket compared to the billions of dollars, military equipment, and open doors U.S. government officials continue to provide to the world’s leading jihadi nations.
And government officials wonder why Patriots are angry.

On the brightside we can expect to see Islam being taught in public schools as a requirement if this continues. We can all be like France!
Willful blindness = deliberate complicity. In no sane world would we provide aid and comfort, resources and treasure, to hostile enemy countries. Afghanistan started as a mission to destroy those involved in the 911 attacks and ended as a bleeding heart rescue mission of a country of squabbling tribes, building everything from an Air Force to schools to gas stations. Why? Same with the DHS, whose initial purpose was to protect the American citizen from foreign threats and has since morphed into a threat against 75+ million Americans who supported a president who challenged the status quo. As I see it, the arc of this government bends against the interests of its own people.

Let’s begin dissecting: our world is not completely sane. And, who is the “we”? The “we” in your post is a part of the greater divided “we” community. So, “we” factions would and do provide aid, comfort…to “our” countries’ enemies.
