Today marks the 50th anniversary of the attack on and killing of members of the Israeli olympic team by jihadis – sharia adherent muslims – during the Munich Olympics.
On the morning of September 5, 1972, 8 members of the terrorist group Black September stormed the Olympic Village, killed 2 Israelis, and took 9 others hostage. The West Germans launched a rescue attempt during which 5 jihadis were killed and 3 arrested. All 9 of the hostages were also killed.
Over the 5 decades since this attack, sharia adherent muslims (jihadis) have killed thousands of people across the globe.
There have been over 130 jihadi attacks in the United States going back to the 1970’s.
The first Al Qaeda attack inside the United States took place in November 1990, when a jihadi killed an Israeli-American rabbi in New York City.
In the last 30 days alone, jihadis have killed 147 people and wounded 217 more in 26 attacks in 13 different countries.
The perpetrators of these attacks – jihadis – all site the same normative and universally taught Islamic sources for their actions.
All authoritative Islamic Law and all text books which teach Islam to muslim children in Islamic schools in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and the Middle East state the purpose of Islam is to wage war against the non-muslim world until “allah’s divine law”/sharia is imposed on every human on earth.
While there may be people who self-identify as “muslim” who do not want to wage jihad and impose sharia on others, their lifestyle does not constitute a different “version” of Islam. Islam regards them as apostates and they are killed daily across the world.
Yet, 50 years after Israelis were murdered by jihadis in front of the entire world, most Western leaders refuse to speak truth about Islam’s violent and enslaving doctrine.
Speaking truth about the brutal and uncivilized doctrine of Islam – sharia – is not a critique of individual human beings. It is a critique of the doctrine itself and those who follow it and use it to kill, subjugate, and enslave.
In response to the jihadi killing of 11 Israelis at the Munich Olympics, Israel’s Golda Meir approved Operation Wrath of God with the mission of killing all of those involved in planning and executing the operation against the Israeli Olympic team.
The operation did, in fact, kill many of the jihadis and leaders involved.
Today in the West, it is common practice to only focus on the individual jihadis involved in attacks and never look at the networks supporting them.
The massive Muslim Brotherhood networks in Europe and North America – 21 years after 9/11 – remain untouched and fully operational. The businesses and international organizations funding and providing logistical support remain nearly untouched.
The nations promoting and supporting the global jihad – Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Qatar, and others – are untouched.
The Iranian networks in Europe and North America, as well as their logistical and financial support, remains largely untouched.
Western civilian and military leaders fail to learn and teach the enemy threat doctrine – sharia – in their leadership institutes, war colleges, and military academies, rendering themselves and those under their commands witless in an ongoing war against a savage enemy.
To win a war you must vanquish the enemy.
You cannot vanquish an enemy you are not willing to identify.
