As the world watches the events in Gaza continue to unfold, American political leaders continue to flounder as they do not understand why a peace cannot be reached between the two sides. Newsflash – Hamas is a terrorist organization whose charter document – the Hamas Covenant – calls for the utter destruction of Israel and a holocaust of the Jews so Muslims can go to paradise. Which part of that is confusing to the U.S. State Department and the White House?

Lets drive this train right home to the station – the same Hamas that is shielding itself with children, firing thousands of rockets into Israel and targeting civilians, is the same Hamas that leads the U.S. Islamic community. As a matter of fact, Senior Hamas Spokesman Musa Mohammed Abu Marzook was the Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood’s U.S. Palestine Committee, which is Hamas in America. Marzook is a “Specially Designated Terrorist” by the U.S. government and has been since 1995.
Prior to 1991, the International Muslim Brotherhood (MB) issued a resolution to its leadership in every nation in which they had a formal structure (over 80 nations at that time) commanding them to create “Palestine Committees” as nodes for Hamas for “media, money, men and all that.” In other words, for propaganda, fundraising, and recruiting.
The U.S. Muslim Brotherhood-created U.S. Palestine Committee originally consisted of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR), and the Occupied Land Fund which became the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (“HLF”). As has been posted here previously, the US v HLF trial (Dallas, 2008) was the largest terrorism financing and Hamas trial ever successfully prosecuted in U.S. history. The indictment indicated that HLF at the time, was the largest Islamic charity in America – and it was HAMAS (hint: Investigative Clue).
As Chairman of the U.S. Palestine Committee Marzook oversaw the operations of IAP, UASR, and HLF. The 4th organization created by the U.S. Palestine Committee in 1994 was the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR is not “sympathetic” to Hamas or “affiliated” with Hamas. CAIR is Hamas.
The evidence in the HLF case revealed a massive “Islamic Movement” in America led by the Muslim Brotherhood with strong Hamas presence and leadership. Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine. Think of it this way – just like a corporation has marketing and operations departments, the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood has Hamas.
The key node for Hamas in America is Chicago. This should not be surprising since the Muslim Brotherhood originally settled in the U.S. in Indiana (ISNA’s HQ in Plainfield, IN), Michigan (Detroit and Dearborn are jihadi central), and Illinois. The very first MB organization in America was the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Illinois in Urbana in 1963. None of this is coincidental.
Hamas’ office (CAIR) today is less than two blocks from the U.S. House office buildings on Capital Hill and Hamas leaders like Nihad Awad, Corey Saylor, and Ibrahim Hooper walk freely on the streets of Washington, D.C. These are men who belong to the same organization currently murdering children in Israel.
Hamas is an integral part of the Muslim Brotherhood, here in the U.S. and abroad. Yet, Muslim Brotherhood leaders, specifically Hamas leaders like those of CAIR, leaders of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which HLF prosecutors found sent money directly from ISNA’s accounts to Hamas overseas, leaders of the Muslim American Society (MAS), which solicits funds to send to Hamas, or any number of other MB organizations in America, continue to operate with impunity and without fear of reprisal.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s safe haven in America must end.
While our Secretary of State, President, and, evidently, our entire national security apparatus appear to have forgotten that Hamas is a terrorist organization, the American people must know who they are dealing with in their local communities when they speak with the leaders of the Islamic community. If citizens, police departments, pastors, school board officials, business leaders or others are speaking to the leaders of a known Muslim Brotherhood organization, then they are speaking to leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood’s parent organization, Hamas – terrorists.
