What's New?

Mosque and Church

As the Christian world celebrates Easter and the resurrection of the savior Jesus the Christ, Islamic Jihad wages across the globe. Christians in places like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, North Korea, Central Africa, and Europe are persecuted for their faith. Those that speak and live their faith are arrested, tortured and killed.

Here in America students and faculty on college campuses and even in public schools face legal action for living out their faith in direct contradiction to the founding principles enshrined in our Declaration of Independence – a Declaration that we are independent of tyranny and DEPENDENT on God.

The Vatican reported to the United Nations in 2013 that over 100,000 Christians are killed annually for their faith across the globe.

Yesterday in Nigeria, on Easter Sunday, Islamic Jihadists burned down a church and killed 150 Christians.  This is happening across the globe on a daily basis.

Yet, American pulpits are silent.

Where are the courageous leaders in America outraged at these atrocities? Where are the brave pastors ready to give everything for their faith and their nation?

The least we can do is to speak the truth about a threat that is closing in on Western civilization seeking to destroy us.  When the majority of Pastors do speak about Islam, it is in terms that are counterfactual.  They say “Islam does not tolerate the indiscriminate killing of people” or other such nonsense.

In fact, 100% of all published Islamic doctrine from the first grade level up to Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt – the most pre-eminent school of Islamic jurisprudence in the world and the oldest – states that Islam is a “complete way of life” (social, cultural, military, political, and religious) governed by Islamic Law (Sharia).  100% of Islamic Law mandates “Jihad” until the world is controlled by Islamic Law.  100% of Islamic Law only defines “Jihad” as warfare against non-Muslims.  Those are the facts.  We should consider ourselves fortunate that many Muslims do not want to live under Sharia nor impose it on others.  But Islam is defined by Sharia.

Why is speaking about this truthfully so offensive to so many “christians?”

While there are a small handful of courageous Pastors, and even a couple Rabbis, who do speak truth into this issue, on the whole America is silent in the face of this global tragedy.  Many American religious leaders openly condemn the holocaust of the Jewish people under the Nazis and Stalin, yet are silent today.  It is time for those leaders to either step down from their positions or step up and speak truth, regardless of consequences.

The Jesus of the Bible never called his followers to be silent or pacifists. Believers are called to speak the truth, even if it leads to their death. Today, many are being killed for doing just that. And America is silent.

The time for sitting on our hands must end. Jesus himself said that when people hear the truth, they hear his voice. Its time to let the world hear a little more truth, and for America to be the beacon on the hill once more.
